Just when you guys thought I mighttttt be over my off shoulder and cold shoulder obsession, I’m here to show you, that NOPE! It’s still very real! I love the color of this one so much…it’s like an oatmeal. Unfortunately it’s sold out, BUT is available in a gorgeous olive. It’s under $60, is super comfy, and can be layered underneath so many different kinds of blanket scarves, cardigans, ponchos, sweaters, and biker jackets.

I scored this biker jacket last year from ASOS, but have found so many similar ones that are super affordable [see below]. A moto jacket like this is such a closet staple for me. You can wear it with a dress, a skirt, jeans and a white tee, and you can even pair it with your workout clothes for a stylish athleisure look! It’s versatile, functional, and adds that “cool girl” factor. I regret not picking up this jacket at the #NSALE a few months ago. I literally want it in every color it comes in!! Every time I see someone wearing it, I get a little sad inside, haha!!

I can’t wait for my next cold weather trip so I can wear OTK boots every damn day! I have worn them on occasion down here in Florida, but I get some funny looks from people…especially when they’re standing there in tank tops and flip flops! My next adventure is less than a month away and I am SO EXCITED for it!! I’ll be sharing details as we get closer.

On another note, I’m not one to usually discuss politics on social media and especially not on this tiny internet space of mine. My main focus is to keep things light hearted while providing helpful resources and doses of inspiration. With that being said, I do want to acknowledge the election and say that I am genuinely shocked by the outcome. I love this country. I respect the fact that we have the right to have our own thoughts, our own opinions. We’re fortunate enough to live in a place where we can not only speak so freely, but also be a part of the process and VOTE. I really hope and pray that the division quickly closes and that we find a way to move on as a united front. It’s evident we are a passionate group of people. I’d love for us to focus now on things we CAN control like educating our children, being kind to others, and contribute to society in a positive way. Love you guys… #UnitedWeStand!
