Top: J. Crew (On Sale!) // Cardigan: GAP // Jeans: American Eagle (so obsessed) // Shoes: Zara (old) Similar // Necklace: Brina Box (also sold at ILY Couture) // Bag: Louis Vuitton
I wore this outfit two weeks ago and it literally feels like it has been months. I’ve been in tank tops and sandals while visiting my family and friends in South Florida. We had Harley’s Baby Naming (a ceremony in which she was given her Hebrew name and blessed by a Rabbi) and got to celebrate with loved ones we unfortunately don’t get to see as often as we’d like. I’m not sure how much longer we will be in Florida, but I need to find some time to sit out in the sun because I think I’m the palest I have ever been and it is NOT a good look for me!
This outfit has so many staple pieces. A classic button down shirt. Boyfriend cardigan. Nude pumps. And distressed jeans that I just can’t stop wearing. If you live in the South or somewhere toasty and wanted to get a similar look, you can wear this top with a lighter weight cardigan (or no cardigan at all), distressed jean shorts and booties. See below for example (click the + for product information):
Oh, and in case anyone was curious, Harley’s Hebrew name is Chaya Zahara (חַיָה זָהֳרָה), named after Casey’s deceased grandparents. Chaya means “life” and Zahara means “shining.” The Rabbi who performed the ceremony is the same man who married Casey and I, in addition to giving me my Hebrew name at my Baby Naming almost 30 years ago which is pretty special. Here she was the morning of her party:
Sorry… I couldn’t not have her crash this post! I also just realized that I never posted her newborn pics on the blog. If you’re friends with me on Facebook, they are posted there, but I will definitely have to get those pictures up soon because they are the sweetest!
I love this look! That cardigan is gorgeous and I love it paired with the distressed denim!
