There was a time that I would never be caught dead in sneakers, unless I was going for a run or to the gym.  Well, times have changed and I’m so glad for that because these days I’m trying to master the casual, cool, mom on the go look.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to put on heels and have an excuse to get dolled up, but for running around on a regular basis, I’ve been more inclined to wear something like this.  J Crew has an awesome sneaker collection and I’m really loving these New Balance ones for Spring.  Zappos is another site I constantly search on (for all types of shoes).

I know everyone probably has warmer weather on their mind, but unfortunately it is most certainly still winter in a lot of places, which was evident yesterday in the airport as I waited for what seemed like eternity to board my flight back to Charlotte from Florida.  Flights were cancelled left and right due to ice storms and unsafe flying conditions and it was just pure chaos.  Anyway, Nike also makes a sneakerboot which can be a great option for people who are constantly battling the snow and ice.  There is a specific pair I am obsessed with, but can’t seem to find online right now, so I am going to do my best to hunt it down and will update this post if I am successful!
