I have to admit, I was never a big Lilly fan [gasp]. I know, I know. Call me crazy! I first learned about Lilly Pulitzer in college, where my fellow sorority sisters would deck out in the bright paisley designs on the regular along with their Jack Rogers sandals. It just wasn’t my thing. Over time, I randomly admired a dress here or top there and started liking the brand more and more. Well, after living in Tallahassee for 4 years and now Charlotte for 2 1/2 years, I suppose the South has rubbed off on me just a little bit. Not only do I peruse the Lilly store when in the mall, but I listen to country music too! Aren’t you proud?!! [I still have yet to say “Y’all” and I don’t know that that will ever naturally roll off my tongue]. Baby steps. 🙂
When I first heard about the Lilly and Target collab [available in stores and online tomorrow], I didn’t think much of it, but after seeing multiple advertisements, I was surprised at how many different items I was super excited about and wanted to have in my closet. I will not be one of the crazies lined up at Target’s door this Sunday morning [no offense to those who are], but I will be reviewing the collection online, in my pjs, from the convenience of my bed. Here is a look at my top 10 favorite looks from the online lookbook:
