It’s no secret I’m a fan of the utility vest and Military Chic inspired outfits.  My very first outfit post over two years ago was titled “Military Chic” and featured an embellished cargo vest from Urban Outfitters.  Military and utilitarian looks seem to always be on trend.  My favorite favorite tee shirt ever growing up was a simple camo tee [very similar to this one] that somehow managed to get lost during the Summer my family moved from New York to Florida, right before entering 11th grade.  I’m convinced one of my friends has it.  It was the yummiest, softest shirt ever!  Clearly, I am still mourning the loss of it and have not been able to come to terms that it’s gone because I know it’s out there somewhere!  [It’s been 14 years by the way and I am officially getting way off topic; sorry!!]  Utility vests and jackets have been staple pieces for me for years.  Fashion is all about expressing yourself and there is nothing better than feeling confident, strong, powerful and poised which is exactly how I feel when embracing this army style.  For a “save” option, check out this one from Forever 21.   Nordstrom currently has several styles available.
