Happy Monday guys! I still can’t get over the fact that Chanukah is officially over [as of last night] and Christmas is NEXT WEEK!!! I was proud of myself for not being a complete procrastinator this year and purchased the majority of my gifts when the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals were going on. This Tory Burch tote was one of my steals! [A gift from me to me!] I still have a few more little things to get, so will be posting a Procrastinator’s Guide to Gifts in the next day or two. I know there are plenty of you out there, haha!
Yesterday was Casey’s 33rd birthday. His parents are in town from New York, so we had lunch with them to celebrate followed by a Chanukah party at my Grandmother’s home with the usual 15+ crazy family members! Case was away all last week for work, so Harley and I are happy to have him home.
I could live in oversized cardigans or cozy jackets, and this SheIn piece is the perfect combo. It’s thin, so is great for layering. I’ve worn it three times already and have thrown it over a tank, a short sleeve tee and a long sleeve blouse. The pockets are faux which I wish they weren’t because I think pockets make everything better! It still looks cute though and I suppose it’s not uncommon for cardigans to be pocketless.
I have a complete case of the Mondays. After Harley was finally feeling better from her ear infection last week, she now has a virus, so we were up all night watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and trying to get her comfy. I hate when she’s sick- it’s so heartbreaking!! Needless to say, I’m exhausted but am doing my best to suck it up. On top of it being a busy week for work, we leave for New York this coming weekend and will be there until after New Years, so just have so much to do before we go. If the United States could implement a standard mid-day siesta, I think we’d have a whole lot more happy people around!
