Roses are red, Violets are blue…

It’s not every day that I prance around in a skirt, but how freaking cute is this one from Chicwish?!! It comes in black, jacquard white [which is adorable for any bride to be], and light pink. There’s also a ton of similar skirts available at Chicwish [which you can view them all here]. It’s the perfect thing to wear for Valentine’s Day, a bridal shower, engagement party, date night, or when you feel like painting the town red! I’m wearing a size Medium for reference. I love how it looks with this floral blouse, but it surprisingly goes well with so many different tops. I’m thinking about bringing it with me to New York this week and pairing it with a black long sleeve sweater, black tights and booties.

Speaking of New York, it will be my first time attending New York Fashion Week [or any Fashion Week ever] and I am SO BEYOND EXCITED! I have pretty packed days from Thursday morning until Monday evening, but if anyone is going to be in the city attending different events/shows, let me know! I’d love to meet up if possible!

I’ll be away from both Casey and Harley on Valentine’s Day, which I do feel a little guilty about, but thankfully Casey is super supportive of me and knows how much it means for me to experience this. And thinking of the two of them spending and celebrating the day together makes me really happy. I don’t think there is anything better than seeing your husband so obsessed and beyond in love with your child.
