Back to school, back to school… ah, all the feels! I know emotions are high, and a good majority of us are feeling stressed, exhausted, scared, nervous, anxious, ALL OF THE ABOVE!!! It sure has been an interesting four months to say the least, but I’m trying to stay positive, focus on things I can control, and keep a peaceful environment in my home.

They just announced that elementary school will be 100% virtual to start. BUT, there is a nearby pre-school that is implementing a program so that kids can do their virtual schooling there. This helps working parents like me BIG TIME!!

Even though things won’t be “normal,” I still want my kids to get excited to go back to school.  When I was little, I looked forward to back to school shopping with my mom every single year. It’s a tradition I want to continue with my kiddos. So, I did a big online shop at Walmart.com. One evening, after all the packages arrived, I laid out everything in two piles, one for Harley and one for Elie. The next morning I told the kids that we had a surprise for them downstairs. They ran down and got SO excited to see all of their new clothes, shoes, and backpacks! It was seriously the cutest thing!! Harley and Elie kept saying, “Wow, it’s like Christmas and Chanukah!!” (We celebrate both.) And then, we all had to watch Harley’s fashion show as she modeled every single thing!!

One of the new rules for Elie’s daycare and Harley’s new school situation is for them to have a pair of inside shoes and outside shoes. So, I was sure to get a few pair for both of them. Honestly, I may go back for a second purchase round because everything is beyond adorable and extremely affordable! Also, every single item fit true to size, regardless of the brand.

Overall, we are all so happy with Harley and Elie’s back to school wardrobe, and I (along with my husband) are even more ecstatic that it didn’t break the bank!  I couldn’t recommend Walmart enough!!
