Sense Beach House Miami

If you follow me on Snapchat [username: jaime_cittadino] or Instagram, you may have seen that this past Sunday I met up with a group of local fashion bloggers for brunch at The Local House, a Raw Bar & Grill located in the Sense Beach House on South Beach. Lauren and I had been talking about getting the girls together for awhile, so we finally set a date and made things happen. Some of the girls I’ve known and have been friends with prior to Sunday, while there were others I was just meeting in person for the first time. It’s funny…when you follow people on their blogs and different social media platforms, you feel like you know them. In your mind you can’t help but decide if this is someone you connect with and would be friends if given the opportunity. Fortunately, all of these girls are just the sweetest and I am so happy to have met each and every single one of them! Yay for nice, funny, friendly, and supportive women!

Now back to the brunch…

It was the perfect day! The Local House was kind enough to give us our own private room [with pitchers of mimosas waiting for us]. The ambiance was lovely, the staff was kind and friendly, and the food was yummy! I ate the Canadian Bacon Benedict which hit the spot and I may or may not have had a few bites of Donna’s Banana Pancakes [okay I clearly did have some and they were SO good! Definitely worth the extra calories, haha!].

In addition to The Local House, there were a few other companies who helped contribute to the event that I’d like to point out and thank…

Sprout made our adorable flower crowns and centerpieces for the table. If you live in the Miami area, you must use Sprout for your next event! The owner, Alexis is the sweetest and she seriously makes the most gorgeous floral arrangements. Prior to the brunch, I had seen her work at an event I attended for Miami Magazine as well as my friend’s bridal shower. I’ve never really gone out of my way to ask for florist information while attending other people’s parties, but again, her flowers were so beautiful that I needed to know where to get them!

Vera Bradley gifted us the cutest beach bags and towels which I’ll be using all of the time. You can see a close up of the towel in yesterday’s Instagram post.

Taudrey is a local Miami jewelry company and online store who makes personalized necklaces, bracelets, rings, and more. I wear her stuff all of the time and she gifted all of the girls a Rose Gold Mini Coin Necklace with a heart stamped on it. It’s a great every day necklace and also looks amazing layered with other necklaces. My favorite pieces from her are:

The Providence Story is someone you may recognize from Instagram. It’s a handmade leather goods store sold on Etsy and the owner, Ali is awesome! Her tassel keychains were gifted to the girls in all different colors. She also makes great bags!

After our bellies were happy, we checked out the pool area of Sense Beach House for some gorgeous rooftop views and typical blogger photo ops. All in all, the brunch was a huge success and I can’t wait to get together with these girls again!
