Plaid Top, Wool & Fur Vest, Jeans, and Booties… Does it get any more “Fall” than that?!

I have a slight obsession with, well a lot of things, but plaid, tartan and gingham patterns are high on the list. Perhaps it was Britney’s ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ video that started it for me, but clearly this classic check pattern is meant for much more than schoolgirl and field hockey skirts. Its been seen on the runway by top designers like Celine, Marc Jacobs, and Phillip Lim to name a few, but that doesn’t mean you have to break the bank to own tops, bottoms, or accessories in this style. Target, American Eagle, Old Navy, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters and pretty much any department store or retail store sells a version of it.

This vest is one of my favorites in my closet. Especially now that I’m living in Charlotte, it hasn’t been cold enough to wear anything heavier than a leather jacket, so this vest is perfect for those semi chilly days. Plus this color is very neutral and goes with so much!
