I have such a love-hate relationship with the mall during the holiday season. I love the music; I love the decorations; I love people watching; I love window shopping; I love shopping shopping. If there’s no agenda, I could honestly spend hours casually browsing and strolling into every store. I’ll even cave and get myself the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites from Auntie Anne’s. That smell tortures the bejesus out of me 11 months out of the year, but from the end of November until the end of December, I treat myself to those delicious little nuggets at least one time without feeling the teeniest bit of guilt and it is glorious.

Now, my life has changed quite a bit the past year and I don’t have the luxury of wasting time anywhere anymore, especially in a shopping mall. Harley, who I have explained is part monkey, much prefers finding ways of climbing out of her stroller so she can run around like a crazy person. If I get the chance to go without her, I am on a mission and am in and out in lightning speed. So these days, I much prefer shopping online. Besides, the people watching can get old real quick when you’re standing in the longest freaking line ever next to people who don’t use soap in the shower [if they even shower].

I really do love getting gifts for other people, especially if it’s for a good friend, my sister or another special woman in my life. The chances of them liking the item[s] are much greater compared to when I get something for – let’s say my parents [who are the hardest people to shop for in the world] or my inlaws.

I’ve included some additional gift ideas below similar to the items shown above. The $24 sunglasses is part of Ditto’s monthly subscription service of renting designer sunglasses, which I’ve talked about a ton. If you use the code:SUNFLOWERSSTILETTOS for one free month, it could be a cool and different present to give someone and then you can obviously choose how many months you’re going to pay for. Another subscription service that would be a great gift idea is Birchbox, which I’m sure you all have heard about.

This Gift Guide for Her covers the basics, but stay tuned for more! Should you have any specific requests, please let me know in the comments below or on my Contact page.
