How is it Monday already?! This weekend was rather boring. Unfortunately, Harley has been sick with a double ear infection, so we pretty much stayed in the entire time. By the way, for those parents out there, did you know that onion juice helps relieve ear pain and can possibly cure ear infections?!! Apparently this is a known holistic remedy that dates way back [like 1800s]. My boss told me it helped his son tremendously, so I googled it and read tons and tons of forums swearing by it. For the record, I am NOT a medical doctor, which you clearly know, so take this info as you wish. I put a quarter of an onion in the food processor, then drained the juice into a small cup… filled a medicine dropper with the fluid and put a few drops in each ear. I don’t know if it was just in my head, but almost instantly after placing the drops in her ears, Harley’s ear pain seemed to go away. Pretty crazy, right?! If only it also cured teething pain from her new molars cutting through. Poor babe…she can’t catch a break! We stayed up watching Mickey Mouse from midnight until about 4:30am, so needless to say, Momma is a little tired this morning!
