PinkBlush Leopard Top C/O [currently $26!] // Victoria’s Secret Denim Shorts [old] // Soludos Espadrilles // Urban Outfitters Sunnies [$18!] // Twine & Twig Necklace // Louis Vuitton Neverfull Bag
I wore this leopard top and cut offs this past weekend, while hanging out with some friends on the lake. Even though it has been a bajillion degrees here, I almost always keep a long sleeve shirt in my car or bag to throw on a bathing suit top or little tank, especially if we plan on going out to eat. I’m always freezing in restaurants! This PinkBlush top is so soft and comfy. I love oversized, boyfriend style shirts that can be thrown on with a pair of shorts or jeans and look semi put together without even trying. Lately, I’ve really been attempting to master the “how not to look like a hot mess, when in fact, I am beyond a hot mess” look. Some days I totally succeed and fool everyone, and other days [like today] not so much.
I know Fall feels forever away, but this would be the perfect top to transition into the cooler weather. Since it’s long in the back and covers the tush, I plan on wearing it with leggings and boots. These soludos shoes will also be a great transitional piece. Typically I associate espadrilles with the Summer, but because of the leather and color of this particular pair, I plan on wearing them as much as possible! And lets be honest… I will be living in South Florida where it’ll probably still be 80 something degrees outside!
If you happen to live in the Charlotte area, you must eat at Port City Club in Cornelius, but be sure to go when the weather is nice so you can sit outside in the back and take advantage of the gorgeous view. It is such a hidden gem and the food is fantastic!
