Sweater c/o // Jeans // bag [best dupe for this bag] // Heels c/o // Sunnies [use code: SUNFLOWERSSTILETTOS for a FREE MONTH of designer sunnies!] // Lipstick in Girl Gang [best liquid lipstick formula!]
So, I actually wore this outfit quite some time ago and totally forgot to post it. #WorstBloggerEver. I was cleaning up my computer and was certain this had made it to Sunflowers and Stilettos, but after checking five times, I realized I never posted it [along with a bunch of other looks] and that I really am losing my mind! Like for real. Harley has been on an anti sleep campaign and it has not been fun to say the least. Even when we were in Sonoma I barely slept because my body was on East Coast time, so I was literally wide awake at 2am.
Anyway, I wanted to share these outfit details for several reasons. The peek-a-boo red plaid is attached to this grey sweater, which I absolutely love. Layering shirts underneath sweaters can often be a challenge. It can look bulky or feel uncomfortable, and with this top you don’t have to worry about either of those things happening. It’s office appropriate [in a business casual setting], and can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with cool sneaks.
I know you’ve probably seen these heels before, but I noticed that they were on sale for under $50. This color is almost all gone, but the black and chestnut are available in most sizes. All three colors are great neutrals, so you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Do you guys still have more holiday shopping to do?!! I do. While I took care of most things Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there’s a few more things I need to pick up. It never fails that I wait until the last minute, so will be sharing some more gift ideas this week for my fellow procrastinators! I know you’re out there!! 😉
Very nice look!
What a cute casual look. Love how you paired it with heels to dress it up.
