Hi friends! Feels good to be back! Costa Rica was so much fun and I can’t wait to tell you guys all about it! [Will be sharing photos and details next week]. Harley and I shot this look while up in New York over the holidays. She’s obsessed with her Hunter boots, but her favorite thing to do with them is swing her legs really hard so they go flying off her feet. She then puts them on again and continues this on/off , on/off game a dozen times. Who needs toys for entertainment, when you have shoes, right?!

While I have always loved rain boots, I was a little late to jump on the Hunter boot wagon. These are the ones I typically wear [which I still love and think they are so so cute!] I didn’t know if it was really necessary to have a second pair, but I got them as a gift for Chanukah… and honestly, it rains a ton in Florida so they will definitely be worn a lot. Hunter boots are orthopedic, so they’re actually comfortable for all day wear. I’m officially addicted and now want them in every color [for both me and Harley]!

** Note, if you’ve never worn them before but are thinking of getting a pair, you should know that they do run large. They don’t come in half sizes, so I’d recommend going down a half to full size down. Some people may even go down one and a half to two full sizes down.  You really need to try them on to see what feels best. I’m an 8 in most shoes…sometimes a 7 1/2, and the 7’s in the Hunters fit me perfectly. I could have probably squeezed into the 6’s, but I wanted to be able to wear thick socks with them. If you plan on wearing them in the snow, you will definitely need good socks. The boots are waterproof but not warm and cozy like Uggs. They do sell really cute Welly socks to go underneath in multiple colors and styles. Also, If you have large calves, they make the Huntress style that runs a little larger than the standard Hunter.
