Orogold Cosmetics: 24K Collagen Collection

The opportunity to work with a luxury skincare company like OROGOLD Cosmetics couldn’t have come at a better time. For most of my adult life, I always thought that I had “good skin,” occasionally getting a blemish or pimple around that time of the month. But what does it mean to have “good skin”? Clearly there is more than breakouts to consider.

Since starting my blog and working with photographers who have professional, high quality cameras and lenses, I’ve started seeing the negative effects of sun exposure and lack of sunscreen from my younger years. When receiving some pictures back from them, I’m like “YIKES!!! Is my skin really this bad?!!!” The smile lines around my mouth, the crows feet outside the corner of my eyes, and the lines across my forehead are becoming more and more pronounced. I should have listened to my Mom growing up when she’d say, “SUNBLOCK, SUNBLOCK, SUNBLOCK!!!” as I’d drench my body in oil that had maybe SPF8 in it if I was lucky. I know…it wasn’t my smartest move. There’s also been a dullness in my skin, which I just assumed was caused by a lack of sleep and living that #MOMLIFE. Regardless the reason, it’s not cute.

So with that being said, I was very eager to try the 24K Collagen Collection to help increase collagen production and improve the texture of my skin. It’s been a month since starting this regimen and I can honestly say that I am hooked!!! It is SO good and makes my skin feel amazing. I even brought the entire line with me this past weekend to Sonoma because I didn’t want to go four days without using it! Obviously it’s going to take longer than a month to reverse the years of damage that has been done, but I definitely feel and see a big difference in my skin since starting this line.

24K Collagen Renewal Lip Balm

Description: This Lip Balm is awesome! It’s enriched with superior conditioners and anti-oxidants to help protect and maintain healthy lips. Castor oil and mango butter help heal and soothe chapped lips, while collagen is known to give a fuller appearance. I so needed this as I struggle with dry lips majorly!

How to use: “Using fingertip, apply liberally onto lips.”

24K Collagen Renewal Cream

Description: This cream can help prevent the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It’s formulated with gold [yes, GOLD!!!], Beta-Glucan and Vitamin C to help restore elasticity in the skin that has been lost due to aging. I LOVE this stuff!!!

How to use: “Apply a thin layer of cream to cleansed skin as part of your skin care routine. For best results, use with 24K Collagen & Seaweed Mask.”

24K Collagen Renewal Serum

Description: This helps restore your skin’s elasticity and reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles.

How to use: “Apply two times every day to cleansed skin. Use together with 24K Collagen & Seaweed Mask for best results.”

24K Collagen & Seaweed Mask

Description: This mask is LIFE! After using it only one time, I immediately felt the difference in my skin. It was SO SOFT!!! I look forward to applying this every Sunday night!

How to use: “Apply a generous amount of mask to clean skin about once a week. Begin applying it in the center of your face and move out toward the edge of the face and neck. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes before rinsing with cool water. For best results, use with the 24K Collagen Renewal Serum.”

24K Collagen Pre-Mask

Description: This preps the skin for the 24K Collagen Mask by melting away impurities.

How to use: “Apply onto dry skin. Massage the gel until it melts into a silky oil. Once melted, apply water and massage gently until the oil is transformed into a foam. Rinse off and follow with the 24K Collagen & Seaweed Mask.”
