It’s no secret that I’m a beauty junkie, hoarder, collector, and self proclaimed [amateur] makeup artist. I’m constantly reading reviews, trying new products, and comparing new favorites to old favorites. So, with that being said, the Sephora Spring Beauty Insider Event is one of my favorite sales of the year!
Below are some standout products from many of my favorite brands. While I tried hard to not overwhelm you guys, I did want to provide a good variety since we’re all on the market for different things.
For the record, I have VERY dry skin! I think it’s important to know that since products work differently for different people.

BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector: This is my #1 recommended item at Sephora to those of you who suffer from dark circles like me. It goes underneath your concealer, and creates a brightening appearance underneath your eyes. They claim it to be “like eight hours of sleep in a jar.” I’ve used this religiously for over two years, and can’t live without it now! Yes, I realize how dramatic that sounds!
Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Face Primer: This primer has anti-aging properties that creates an instant soft, luminous glow and dewy look. It can be used on its own, underneath foundation, or mixed in with foundation [which is my preferred use]. I honestly wouldn’t even consider this a primer. While it doesn’t necessarily keep your foundation lasting longer, it does help blur imperfections.
Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick: “Bitch Perfect” is my favorite lipstick color! It’s the perfect peachy nude, and just seriously stunning! I pair it with “Pillow Talk” liner for the most gorgeous pout!
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer: I’m really starting to love a lot of Fenty Beauty products. This primer reduces the appearance of pores, while also keeping your foundation lasting all day long!
Dior Forever 24h* Wear High Perfection Skin Foundation: On an every day basis, I tend to like a light coverage, and rotate between this tinted moisturizer, color correcting light foundation, and this CC+ Cream with SPF. In general, I often mix two foundations together to achieve the perfect color. Anyway, back to this Dior Foundation… it’s quickly becoming a favorite for me on days that I want and need a bit more coverage. This past week, I was in meetings all day for work… put my face on at 6am, and didn’t get home until close to 10pm. My makeup looked flawless, even after 16 hours!! I also think the finish is just beautiful.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation: Another full coverage foundation that offers a beautiful finish. It’s a bit more affordable than the Dior mentioned above, however, not as long wearing, especially if you have oily skin. With that being said, if you use a good primer underneath, and a setting powder on top [which I do with almost all foundations], you should be good to go! Again, I have dry skin, so so far, have not had any issues with this foundation.
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes: This product has been a game changer for me! There are so many beautiful powders out there, but the majority of them are meant for the face, NOT the under eye area. After putting on concealer, use a damp beauty blender to pat this powder into the skin underneath your eyes. After you’re done with your entire face/makeup, use a fluffy brush to wipe off the excess powder. A little goes a long way!
Hourglass: Hourglass is hands down, one of my top favorite brands sold at Sephora. They just make such high quality, BEAUTIFUL products. Their lipgloss [color: CHILD], ambient light powders, blushes, bronzers, veil translucent setting powder, foundation stick…. they’re all so so good!! You seriously can’t go wrong with any of these:
LANCÔME CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base: I’ve tried a ton of mascara primers, and honestly like a lot of them. This is the newest one to my collection, and I LOVE the way it makes my mascara and lashes look. Over 2600 people rated this 5 stars, and it seems to be a favorite amongst my friends.
LANCÔME Monsieur Big Mascara: There will never be one mascara that I swear by. I don’t know why I can’t commit to just one, but I can’t. With that being said, this one happens to be one I constantly reach for. It’s definitely one of my favorites! I did just order this one, and I’m excited to try it!!
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo: Living Proof has been one of my favorite hair care brands for the last four years. This dry shampoo actually cleans your hair from oil, and sweat. I did just pick up the DRYBAR Detox Clear Invisible Dry Shampoo the other day after a blowout, so will have to report back to you guys and let you know which one I like better!
