Skull Candy

February 11, 2014
I am excited to team up again with Emma from Defined Designs to bring you another collaboration.  Today’s ‘Style Series’ is themed Skull Candy.  Skulls may not be for everyone, but both Emma and I have been seeing them around everywhere and wanted to put our spin on this trend.

Alexander McQueen is known for his use of skulls in designs and adding a sense of fantasy and rebellion to fashion.  His Skull Scarf has been seen on many celebrities and it has been copied by other designers around the world.  These scarves range from $295-$575, so needless to say, I do not own one.  This is as wild and crazy as my skull collection gets 🙂 :
Skull Sweater
I love how the colors in this sweater softens the skull image, making it more girly & pretty.
Colored skinnies would look great too.
