I never met a stripe I didn’t like! Vertical, horizontal, diagonal…bold, colored, thick, thin and more! There’s something about stripes that adds a level of sophistication.  They’re cool, but polished and takes any basic garment up a notch. Whether worn alone, mixed with other patterns or a pop of color, stripes [in my opinion] will always be in style.

The thin light blue and white vertical stripe seems to be the most classic of them all as it’s a staple in menswear. I love how this Chicwish striped button down dress is a feminine version of the traditional men’s work shirt. It’s appropriate for the office, yet flirty enough for date night. The high-low hemline is the perfect little detail!

As you can see, I paired the dress with nude heels to spiff it up a bit. It looks great however, with sandals, wedges, flats, pumps, and even your favorite pair of kicks too!
