With every season, I like to change up my skincare and beauty routine just as I do with my wardrobe. Now that it’s officially summertime, I strive for that J-Lo golden-bronzed glow. I mean, who doesn’t?! Less is more in my opinion, especially in hot and humid conditions. Here are my summer beauty must haves:

FACE

bareMinerals ‘Complexion Rescue™’ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream – Summer skin is all about achieving a healthy looking, dewey glow. This tinted moisturizer is great for evening out your skin tone without feeling like you have a lot of product on your face. Blends in smoothly and doesn’t feel sticky! I wear Natural 05.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – sometimes a tinted moisturizer just doesn’t cut it. This foundation provides great coverage and is silicone based which helps avoid foundation from melting off your face! This is the most expensive foundation I’ve ever bought, but I have to be honest and say it was worth every single penny! It blends in perfectly with my skin color and makes it look flawless! I wear shade 5.5.

M·A·C ‘Mineralize’ Skinfinish – I have quite a collection of highlighters and illuminators in both liquid and powder form. This can be used as either one. With a light hand, blend it all over your face for a sheer glow. I tend to use it more as a highlighter and concentrate on the high points of my face. Soft & Gentle is the only shade I’ve ever used! It’s so beautiful!!

Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Color – I typically use and prefer powder blushes, however, after reading so many great reviews, I had to try this product. It did not disappoint! This cream finish goes on easily, offering buildable coverage. It’s long wearing too! I have Canyon and am planning on getting Rosebud next!

NARS Bronzing Powder – An oldie but a goodie. There’s a reason this bronzer is a best seller! It’s highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. The color Laguna works perfectly with my olive skin.

LIPS

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick – I was recently introduced to this brand after getting my makeup professionally done and fell in love! This lipstick is smooth and luxurious, but also lightweight. It’s enriched with emollients that softens, smoothes, and nourishes. Musk Stick is a bright and beautiful pink shade, perfect for summer. I’m also obsessed with Muse, which is a matte, soft rose pinky-nude. The formula feels amazing!

Lancôme Juicy Shaker – I’m sorry in advance if you become completely addicted to these and end up buying every single color available! These glosses are so unique and different in a good way!  They’re formulated with a blend of five nourishing oils, treating your lips like a lip balm. They feel, smell, and taste amazing! Be sure to shake it really well before applying with the cushion applicator. Start with one of these shades: COLOR 381 Mangoes Wild, COLOR 300 Lemon Explosion, COLOR 151 Cherry Symphony, COLOR 102 Apri-Cute, COLOR 341 Bohemian Raspberry.

Pixi Nourishing Lip Polish – I suffer from the worst dry lips ever. After starting to use this product two weeks ago, I’ve already noticed a huge difference. It’s a multitasking exfoliator and lip soothing treatment. The applicator makes it super easy to buff my lips on the go, leaving me with soft and shiny lips!

Coral Lips – Coral colored lips are my favorite to wear in the summer. From light to bright, lipstick to lipgloss, matte to shiny, I love it all!! My top three go-tos are: Khroma Beauty Joy Stick in Sea Coral, Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids in Shocking Coral, Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Coral.

EYES

Maybelline Volum’Express Colossal Waterproof Mascara – I’m not a lover of waterproof mascara, but happen to really like this formula. It is absolutely waterproof, yet comes off easily with makeup remover. It’s affordable and in my opinion, works better than all of the higher end waterproof mascaras I’ve tried before!

Clarins ‘Double Fix’ Mascara – I read somewhere that if you put clear mascara over your regular mascara, it helps make it waterproof. So, if you’re really attached or loyal to a certain mascara but wish it were waterproof, just add a coat of this! You can also use this to help keep your eyebrows in place.

Lancôme ‘Le Stylo Waterproof’ Long Lasting Eyeliner – I hosted a beauty event a few months back and got to watch multiple makeup artists work their magic on over 200 people over the course of 4 hours. A particular seasoned artist [who I slightly became obsessed with] used this eyeliner in the shade Azure on almost every single person she touched, regardless of skin color, hair color, and eye color. It was amazing to see how beautiful this shade of blue looked on everyone! I’m pretty boring when it comes to eyeliner. Black and brown are as wild as I usually get, so I’m excited to switch things up a bit!

LORAC ‘Unzipped’ Shimmer & Matte Eyeshadow Palette – This has the perfect combination of matte and shimmer neutral pigments. Often, the shadows in a palette can be poor quality in comparison to when its individually packaged. I didn’t find that to be the case with this. The colors are highly pigmented and blendable.

BODY

Ahava Mineral Body Lotion – A long time favorite. This lotion will leave your skin feeling clean, soft and silky. It’s light, but effective.

Ahava ‘DeadSea Salt’ Softening Butter Salt Scrub – I’m partial to Israeli products after traveling to the beautiful country of Israel 6 year ago. One of my all time favorite exfoliating face and body scrubs is from a local family’s olive factory that can be found online here.  I’m a big fan of many Sabon and Ahava products, including this butter salt scrub. It gently scrubs off the dead skin, leaving it rejuvenated and hydrated.
