Tarte Cosmetics Gems You Need From The Friends & Family Sale

It’s been awhile since my last beauty post, so I figured today was the perfect time to share some products with you while the Tarte Friends & Family Sale was still going on. Why is it that the one thing I love most is excluded from the sale?! Does this happen to anyone else?!! I was SO excited when I got the Friends & Family email in my inbox and IMMEDIATELY went to the site to add the Shape Tape Concealer into my shopping cart. And there it was, in purple writing, “*Please note this item is not eligible for select discounts or promotions.” Whyyyyy Tarte,WHY?!! Just rip my heart out why don’t ya! I know I sound dramatic, but this is THE BEST UNDER-EYE CONCEALER OUT THERE!!! I was so mad that I refused to buy anything. And then two days later, I sort of got over it and restocked on some of my favorites. Typical Jaime.

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush

This blush comes in 11 beautiful shades. Dollface is a long time favorite and Bushing Bride is a newbie for me, but I love it already! [I actually received it in Sephora’s Birthday Gift last month]. No joke, I want to try every color. It goes on so softly, yet offers great pigmentation. It blends well and truly lasts 12 hours!

Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer

Park Ave Princess [left] is Tarte’s #1 best selling bronzer-powder. It also comes in a matte version [right], which has been one of my favorite bronzers ever. In general, I personally prefer a matte finish over a shimmery one, but after years of hearing and reading raving reviews, I finally just purchased the one you see to the left and can not wait to try it! Supposedly it gives off a very natural sheen. One of the reviewers said it gave her that J-Lo glow which I am all about!

Tarteist™ Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint

Okay, so I am a bit obsessed with finding the ultimate matte liquid lipstick. I don’t even want to openly admit to you guys how many I have tried and purchased! I do feel like I’ve found a few great ones from several brands, but none of them are unflawed. Perhaps my expectations are too high and I will never find that perfect one, but I’m praying to the Liquid Lipstick Gods that this one from Tarte is it. I’m impatiently waiting for my package to be delivered. I ordered the colors Get It!, Homeslice, and Rosé.

Limited-Edition Lights, Camera, Lashes™ 4-in-1 Mascara

How fun is the packaging for this limited edition mascara?! This is a vegan lengthening, curling, volumizing & conditioning mascara that contains provitamin B5 which helps hydrates and improves the appearance of lashes. I own this mascara in the regular packaging and it’s great for lengthening and separating lashes. It has never clumped on me and it lasts all day! I don’t know that I will ever be loyal to just one mascara, but this is certainly in my rotation.

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Foundation SPF 15

So many people have claimed this foundation to be their holy grail of foundations. I tend to buy foundations without SPF because I don’t like the white-ish filter it often creates in pictures. I know, I know…I am probably sounding like a moron to a good majority of you right now for admitting that, but hey, gotta keep it real! Anyway, I figured the Friends & Family Sale was the perfect opportunity to finally try it.
