The Home T Moving Announcement

It’s official!  We are moving to Florida!!  [Casey is coming too, but I spared him from the corny photoshoot].  It is definitely bittersweet.  Much more sweet than bitter, but we are really going to miss Charlotte and the life we created here.  After all, we have spent our entire life as Husband and Wife here [almost 3 years] and it’s the place Harley was born.  Who would have thought two New Yorkers would have a Southern baby, haha!!  We have made great friendships and some pretty amazing memories.  Charlotte will always have a special place in my heart.

When Casey and I started dating, I was living in South Florida with my family and he was in New York.  After a year of doing long distance, I moved in with him, back to my home town in Long Island where we both grew up.  After our wedding, we made the move to Charlotte for Casey’s new job which no longer requires him to be based in North Carolina.  I can’t say enough amazing things about this place and if it wasn’t for us not having a support system, we would stay in a heartbeat.  I’m so excited for Harley to be able to play with her cousins every day and be surrounded by tons of family and close friends.  I can’t wait for this next chapter!

Now if you’ll excuse me while I go back to packing hell.  [There is NOTHING fun about moving. NOTHING!!]  And I think I can finally acknowledge that I have wayyyy too much crap!  Charlotte friends, if you have nothing better to do, I’m happy to bribe you with wine and a home-cooked meal if you want to come join the fun!  Trying to pack while watching a 10 month old monkey, I mean child is surely entertaining!  🙂
