Casey and I are heading to New York today, but stopping in Maryland for a night or two to break up the trip. I normally don’t mind long drives and actually prefer to be the one driving, but today Case gets to be my chauffeur while I type away on my laptop and talk on the phone to my clients the entire day. How exciting for him! We usually fly to New York since it’s such a quick flight, but we’ll be up there for weeks, maybe even a month, and I can not be without my car for that long. Plus, now I get to fill up my Jeep with a tenth of my wardrobe which is way more fun than trying to fit a few of my favorite things into a suitcase.
I’m all about comfort when it comes to traveling via plane or car. Not that I want to look like a bum, but I never quite understand women who wear their 5 inch heels, push up bras, and a gazillion accessories. The worst is standing behind that girl at the security line in the airport. I know you know what I’m talking about. Anyway, I prefer to travel in leggings or soft jeans and a loose fitting top; throw my hair up in a big ol’ bun, put some lipgloss on and call it a day. I’ve also been operating the past few days on zero sleep, so this is as good as it’s gonna get boys and girls.
