Casey and I recently spent a weekend at Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We figured it would be the last weekend we’d have as just the two of us, before becoming a family of four, so were looking for a true, relaxing vacation.
About an hour away from our home is Eden Roc, which is attached to the Nobu Hotel. It couldn’t have been a more perfect place to escape to. I could go on and on about how amazing this hotel is. It’s glam, it’s chic, it’s sophisticated. And, while we were only there for three days, two nights, it was exactly what we needed to unwind, de-stress, and enjoy each other’s company.
I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking…
Prior to the weekend, temps had been up in the 90’s. Of course, after weeks of praying for “Fall weather,” it happened to to have cooled down like the day we arrived. Be careful what you wish for, right?!
Anyway, it was totally fine. We still enjoyed the pool and beach, and I had a good time making fun of Casey all bundled up in towels and a hoodie jacket. When he first moved down to Florida, you have no idea how much crap he used to give me for saying how cold I was when it was in the 70’s. Now, his blood has thinned like the rest of us down here!
Shortly after check-in, we ate at Splash, the poolside restaurant. It was a little preview of Malibu Farm, a farm to table restaurant opening soon at Eden Roc. Per usual, we ordered way too much food, but everything was so so delicious! We started with sharing a brussel sprout salad and variety of tacos. Case ordered a burger, and I got a grilled chicken sandwich. We were stuffed about halfway into the meal, yet somehow managed to finish just about all of it.
For dinner, we kept things on the lighter side and went to Nobu, their in-house restaurant. I hadn’t been to Nobu in years! It was previously located in the Shore Club hotel, but about 2-3 years ago, Nobu and Eden Roc joined forces. If you ever go there, order the miso black cod. It’s to die for!

Saturday started with breakfast in bed, followed by an unintentional spa day. And by unintentional, I mean, we were each booked for an hour massage, however, ended up staying in the spa area for hours!
Their entire spa and fitness area is a dream. Because of my pregnancy, I didn’t go in the whirlpools or sauna, but, the post-massage relaxation room was seriously the greatest thing ever. Casey and I cuddled up by the fire place enjoying champagne [for him] and tea [for me]. It was amazing to not have an agenda.

On Sunday, we initially had plans to go to Prime Fish for brunch before heading home, but it was the nicest day of our stay, so instead, we skipped brunch and enjoyed some sunshine on the beach for a few hours.
Honestly, we couldn’t have hoped for a better stay. A weekend at Eden Roc was exactly what we needed! In fact, I’m thinking it may be our first post-baby staycation. It’s perfectly located, central on Miami Beach and accessible to every hot spot in town. With that being said, if you don’t want to galavant around Miami and prefer to stay in one place, Eden Roc has everything you need… three pools, beach access, Starbucks, several delectable food options, and incredible spa and fitness amenities.
I can’t wait to go back!
A big thank you to Eden Roc Miami Beach for our complimentary stay. As always, all opinions are 100% my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sunflowers and Stilettos.
